AlbiMichi ("we", "us", "our") operates the AlbiMichi app and this website, AlbiMichi.com (together, "AlbiMichi"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Account info — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID.
- Gameplay data — your progress, stats, and preferences, including any text you enter yourself (such as your profile name, to-do list items, and custom habit names), stored against your account so it's there next time you play.
- Content you choose to share — if you turn on Postcard sharing, your display name, profile picture, Postcard, and stats may be visible to other players on the leaderboards.
- Referrals — your invite code, and which code referred you if you joined via a friend's invite.
- Email preferences — whether you've opted in to email updates.
- Reports — if you report another player's name or Postcard, we store the report and your account ID as the reporter.
How we use it
- To run your account and keep your progress in sync across sessions.
- To operate features like leaderboards, referrals, and rewards.
- To send you product updates, if you've opted in — you can turn this off anytime in Account Settings.
- To review reported content and keep AlbiMichi a safe, appropriate space.
- To find and fix bugs, and improve the app.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use the following providers to run AlbiMichi, and your data is processed by them only on our behalf:
- Google — for signing in.
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
- Cloudflare — hosting for the app and this website.
What other players can see
If you turn on Postcard sharing, your display name, profile picture, Postcard, and stats may be visible to other players on the leaderboards. You can turn this off at any time, and you can report another player's name or Postcard if you think it's inappropriate.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from AlbiMichi.com → Account, which removes your account and all linked app progress.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can handle most of this yourself in Account Settings, or contact us using the details below.
Children
AlbiMichi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
